PRESSURE VESSELS
Pressure Vessels

This unit provides for AOF (Absolute Open Flow) testing, in-line production testing and specialized gas well flow back operations. High Arctic's equipment is new and innovative thereby delivering high performance in the field while generating operating cost reductions that are passed back to the customer.

AOF and In-line Flow Testing:AOF (Absolute Open Flow) and in-line gas well testing takes place when a gas well is flowed through a surface separator system where the flow is broken into three main components (gas, oil, water) and the pressure and volume of each is accurately measured. The liquids are flowed into tanks or into a producing flow line and the gas is either flared or piped into producing gas flow lines.

Flow testing takes place on new wells or existing wells. This service provides a level of activity not related to newly drilled wells, thereby providing greater revenue stability.

New wells are tested to determine how a reservoir performs under flow conditions. This helps reservoir and production engineers calculate the total productive capability of the well and reservoir.

Existing wells are flow tested to determine the exact mixture of gas, water and natural gas liquids as well as to provide reservoir pressure data for regulatory authorities such as the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board.
