THE NORDEGG

The Nordegg (340K) Hydraulic Workover Rig is a diesel powered HWR, capable of all drilling, workover and snubbing operations that are currently being conducted with conventional draw work type Rigs. The Nordegg hydraulically moves the tubular components in and out of the wellbore with hydraulic rams, which in turn creates a very small operational footprint for this powerful rig. The rig is capable of lifting 340,000 lbs with these hydraulic cylinders, and all pipe is picked up or laid down during pipe movement and positioned with a dual counterbalanced winch set-up and pipe slide eliminating all unnecessary safety risks.

Fuel Tank

  • 2,500 gallons
  • Rated lifting eyes for loading while filled
  • Integral drip trays front for transfer pump and hose, back for in use barrel area and barrel pump
  • Top of the fuel skid can store up to 12Ð45 gallon barrels with tie down points spaced for same

Generators Skid

  • 2-250kva Volvo-Penta generators
  • Setup to run individually or sequenced as required
  • 460 voltsÐ60hz
  • Distribution panel and transformers are mounted conveniently between the generators on the skid
  • 50 hp compressor and distribution manifold are also mounted on the skid

Non-Ground Disturbance Anchors

  • Eliminates the need of ground disturbance for anchor points of guide wires
  • Anchor weighs 10 tons
  • Frame holds blocks securely and has an engineered lifting eye for loading / unloading

Stairway Tower

  • Transported collapsed in two stacks 3m x 3m x 2m in height
  • Assembled by two men in three hours with the use of a small crane (5 tons @ 30 meters)
  • When erected has a height of 25 meters and is free standing
  • All components store within the two stacks including stairway sections and handrails for all levels
  • More sections can be added to accommodate taller stack configurations, when tower exceeds 35 meters guide wires must be installed

Accumulator

  • Accumulator 3,000/1,500 psi High/Low 6 station by-pass 300 gal
