HAGUE SUBSTRUCTURE

The Hague Substructure can be assembled on location by two men in 1.5 hours with the use of a 50 ton crane and either a small picker or a loader with forks. The unit is installed typically at mid range of travel and becomes a work floor for changing BOP components and building the rest of the BOP stack. After installation of the substructure the BOP stack legs are extended, cylinders are stroked, appropriate load is taken off the BOP stack and the structure is pinned in place and hydraulic pressure is relieved from cylinders.
