The Foothills Stand Alone Snubbing Systems offered by High Arctic were developed to provide customers with the most cost efficient well servicing package available. By eliminating the need for other services, overall cost is decreased and safety on location is increased as every person with a hand in operating the equipment is a trained snubber. This package comes with all the capabilities of a service rig, while maintaining the ability to service the well under pressures up to 35 mPa. The units possess all the capabilities of High Arctic's conventional Stand Alone Snubbing System™, including the ability to lift up to 120,000 pounds and an average trip time of 1 joint per minute. However, in addition to the regular Stand Alone Snubbing System™ (which includes a Fassi 800 picker and modular pump and tank) this package includes it's own class III BOP/accumulator system, light plant, pressure vessel, 24 cubic meter mud tank and 4 1/2x6 triplex pump. This system has the ability to meet all your service needs.
Operation This system can be moved on to location, rigged up and pressure tested in as little as two hours. The unit is equipped with a four slip configuration that allows for complete mechanical control of the tubulars while snubbing light pipe or running heavy pipe. During the rig up process, the Fassi 800 picker is used as the primary lifting source. Afterwards, the boom is extended and utilized (in conjunction with the basket mounted pipe handling winch) as the pipe handling mast. This system can safely handle tubing or drill pipe as it is jacked in or out of the well. The Tri-plex pump and mud tank complete with trough can be used for a variety of functions including flowing back to tank, clean outs and drill outs. With a pump rate of 1.3 cubic meters per minute, this package will meet all the pumping needs for Class III operations. Technical Data:
