The Cadomin (340K) Hydraulic Workover Rig was designed and built to meet the challenges of offshore workover's. The rig incorporates all of the conventional hydraulic work over rig systems that make them the obvious choice for workover's on land or off-shore. However, the Cadomin has a number of "FIRST EVER" features that make it a one of a kind piece of equipment specialized to safely and efficiently complete ESP pump changes. The rig has modular components with maximum weights per component of five tons. Each item in the rigs inventory was designed to have the smallest footprint possible. With a self- erecting lattice derrick it is capable of handling long heavy bottom hole assemblies never before deployed or recovered by hydraulic work over rigs. The unit also incorporates the HAES long stroke system that gives this equipment an effective stroke of 22 feet for handling workover and completion tools. This rig makes work-over campaigns on wells that were drilled by cantilever jack up rigs possible and economical.
