Mr. MacPherson has held the position of Pressure Services Technical Manager of High Arctic Energy Services since August 2006. His primary responsibilities are providing technical advice in sales and operations and developing procedures and competencies. Mr. MacPherson has worked in the oil and gas industry for 34 years, with experience working in Western Canada, Indonesia, Spain and Italy. Prior to joining High Arctic, Mr. MacPherson served 14 years as the General Manager for Live Well Service.
In his career, Mr. MacPherson has achieved several successes, including serving as the Chairman of the IRP 15 (Snubbing Operations) Committee. Mr. MacPherson has written several published papers, including "Rig Assist Snubbing - For the Life of a Well"; "Snubbing Provides Options for Broader Applications of UBD"; "Hydraulic Rig Assist Snubbing, Well Control for UBD"; and "Hydraulic Rig Assist Snubbing, Underbalanced for the Life of the Well".
