John Hoopey - GCC Operations Manager
Mr. Hoopey has held the position of GCC Operations Manager since May 2006. Prior therto, he held the positions of Pressure Services Manager, - International, Technical Trainer, Supervisor, Operator and Assistant, upon joining the organization in March 1996. His primary responsibilities are overseeing, coordinating and optimizing the men and equipment of the international operations and increasing utilization.

Mr. Hoopey has worked in the oil and gas industry for 14 years, with experience working in the United Arab Emirates, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen and Canada. Prior to joining High Arctic, Mr. Hoopey worked in the field with two other well service companies.

In his career, Mr. Hoopey has achieved several successes, including the implementation of the processes and systems presently in use at the Hamriyah facility in Dubai. Mr. Hoopey was an integral part in the development and execution of High ArcticÕs training program and competency levels and in developing a Fishing Under Pressure course. Mr. Hoopey holds several certifications and instructor certificates, including: Train the Trainer instructor, H2S instructor, IWCF Well Intervention instructor and LEL Detection and Control instructor.
