Mr. Handsel has held the position of Business Development Manager (Eastern Hemisphere) of High Arctic Energy Service LLC since March 2005. His primary responsibilities are sales, marketing, rentals and product line expansion for the Eastern Hemisphere. Mr. Handsel was educated at the University of Texas (Mechanical Engineering and PETEX, 1986).
Mr. Handsel has worked in the oil and gas industry for 26 years, with experience working in Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Venezuela, Chile, Scotland, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Oman, Yemen, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, Australia, Burma, United States and Canada. Prior to joining High Arctic, Mr. Handsel served as General Manager for Cooper Cameron (Saudi Arabia), President of Drilling Tools International (Dubai), General Manager for National Oilwell (Middle East), Regional Asset Manager for Weatherford (Middle East and Asia Pacific) and Shore Base Manager for Halliburton Drilling Systems (Asia Pacific).
Mr. Handsel holds two patents for PDC Drill Bit design, conceiving a design for clearing of cuttings in sticky formations (full release junk slots).
